Company Overview
AVRDM specializes in the engineering and integration of complex robotic systems for defense, medical, and industrial applications. The company boasts elite-level engineering, fabrication, machining, and integration capabilities.
With a 2014 merger of Avalanche Engineering (est. 1981) and Warrior Engineering (est. 2008). The combination of Avalanche's world class fabrication and manufacturing has been combined with Warrior's cutting edge engineering and machining capabilities, resulting in a company capable of developing a system you have only been able to dream of. No project is too large or complex, we specialize in solving the problems other companies can't.
Engineering Capabilities
We have a team of 84 engineers across multiple disciplines allowing us to provide research and develop, design, simulation, testing and production engineering all in house.
We utilize various MCAD and ECAD systems so we can work with the preferred file format of your engineering team. Allowing for seamless turnover when project is complete.
For simulation we utilize both COMSOL Muliphysics as well as ANYSYS. We can perform any level of simulation from basic FEA to complex CFD analysis. We also utilize simulation for efficiency optimization on processes.
Manufacturing Capabilities
AVRDM prides ourselves on our ability to produce most parts and systems in house. We have a very strong manufacturing department consisting of 104 dedicated people. Our teams work alongside robotics and automation in our facility allowing for us to run a 24/7 production time with lights out manufacturing. This means we only have a Monday through Friday, 9-5 manned shift, but our machines run 24/7.
Automating our own processes helps us in knowing what works best for automating your processes. This helps us stay a step above our competition as we can test designs in house and have intimate knowledge of many of the systems we integrate before putting them in our clients facilities.
Our in house manufacturing includes laser and water-jet cutting, EDM, horizontal/vertical/multi-axis CNC machining, both manual and robotic welding, as well as 3D printing and finishing.
Integration and Service
Along with our strong in house engineering team, we also have a integration and service department that works directly with our clients for installation, integration and service at your facility.
Our integration and service team is able to travel anywhere in the world to get your system installed, working with your other systems and can be onsite to repair if necessary when you need it.
We believe that the relationship we formed is for the life of the machine and want to provide service as if the machine was in our own facility.
